Text to Handwriting Converter
Turn typed text into realistic handwriting on blank, ruled or transparent paper — then download it as a multi-page PDF or a transparent PNG image.
🔒 Runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type is uploaded or stored on a server.
The Text to Handwriting Converter turns your typed text into realistic handwriting and lays it out across pages you can print or hand in. Type or paste your text, pick blank or ruled paper, choose your ink, and click Generate — the tool renders each page and lets you download the whole thing as a multi-page PDF or grab the first page as a PNG. It is handy for assignments that ask for handwritten work, filled-in notes, or a personal touch on a letter.
The realism comes from a real handwriting dataset rather than a font: pages are drawn with the open-source handwritten.js engine, so letters vary naturally from one to the next — the little inconsistencies a font can't fake. Start on clean blank paper (the default) for a plain look, switch on ruled lines for a notebook feel, and set the ink to black, blue or red to match a real pen.
Need just the ink with no page behind it? Pick transparent paper and the download is a PNG with a see-through background — ideal for dropping realistic handwriting onto a photo, a design, a signature line or a slide. The preview shows the pages on a checkerboard so you can see exactly what is transparent (a PDF is always a document, so it keeps a white page background — grab the PNG when you need the transparency).
The first time you click Generate, the tool downloads the handwriting engine (about 4 MB) from a CDN, so it needs an internet connection for that one step. After that, pages are drawn on your own device and the PDF is assembled there too — your text is never uploaded. Pages are A4 sized so the PDF prints at the right scale, and long passages paginate automatically into a stack of matching handwritten pages.
How to use
- Type or paste the text you want turned into handwriting.
- Choose your paper — blank (plain), ruled lines, or transparent (a see-through PNG) — and pick black, blue or red ink.
- Click Generate. The first run downloads the ~4 MB handwriting engine (needs internet once); after that it renders on your device.
- Review the pages in the preview — long text flows onto extra pages automatically.
- Download the whole document as a PDF, or grab the first page as a PNG.
