Word Unscrambler & Anagram Solver

Enter your letters and instantly find every valid English word you can make, grouped by length.

Enter some letters and press “Find words”.

🔒 Runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type is uploaded or stored on a server.

The Word Unscrambler takes a jumble of letters and finds every real English word hidden inside them. Type your letters, and it checks them against a built-in dictionary of thousands of words, returning all the valid words you can spell — neatly grouped from longest to shortest. It's the fast way to crack anagrams and rescue a stuck word-game turn.

Word-game players love it for Scrabble, Words With Friends, Wordscapes, anagram puzzles and the daily word challenges in newspapers. Beyond games, it's a genuine vocabulary builder: seeing all the words your letters can form is a great way to discover new words and spot patterns. It also helps solve jumble puzzles and crossword-style clues where you know the available letters.

Crucially, it respects how many times each letter appears — it will only use a letter as often as you've supplied it — so every suggested word can actually be built from your tiles. Everything runs locally in your browser using the bundled dictionary, so it's fast and works offline once the page loads.

How to use

Frequently asked questions

Does it use each letter only as many times as I enter it?
Yes. If you type two e's, words may use up to two e's but no more. Every result is buildable from exactly the letters you supplied.
How are the results ordered?
Words are grouped by length, longest first, and sorted alphabetically within each group — so the most valuable words for games are right at the top.
Which dictionary does it use?
A built-in list of thousands of common English words bundled with the page. It covers the words you'll meet in everyday play, though extremely obscure tournament words may not all be included.
Can it solve a full anagram (using every letter)?
Yes — true anagrams that use all your letters appear in the longest-length group at the top, right alongside any shorter words you can make.
Does it support blanks or wildcards?
Not currently. Enter the specific letters you have; wildcard/blank-tile support may be added in a future update.
Is it really private and offline?
Yes. The dictionary is loaded into your browser and all the matching happens on your device — nothing is uploaded.
